The Martian title sequence

For a hypothetical film (more hypothetical than the actual movie) based on the novel by Andy Weir.

Screens are a big part of the story in the novel, as all communication between the protagonist and all other characters takes place through screens. Some of the most memorable scenes for me, in fact, were sequences of computers updating their software. I wanted to highlight fantasy ui, but keep the overall fun tone of the novel. Paired with this particular song, I hope that tone is conveyed here.

My original pass looked quite different. After reconsideration I introduced some color and design based on events in the book.
